Always supervise play. No pet toy is indestructible. Always supervise your pet when they play with any toy, and take it away if pieces come loose or your pet begins to swallow parts of it.
Inspect toys regularly. Check toys for wear before each play session and discard any toy that is torn, cracked, or damaged. A worn toy can become a choking or ingestion hazard.
Choose the right size. Select toy and treat sizes appropriate to your pet’s species, breed, size, age, and chewing style. A toy that is safe for a small cat can be a choking hazard for a large dog, and an aggressive chewer needs sturdier toys than a gentle one.
Keep packaging away from pets and children. Bags, films, ties, and other packaging materials are not toys and can cause suffocation or choking. Dispose of them right away.
Treats are not a diet. Treats are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only, unless the product label says otherwise. Follow the feeding guidance on the package and provide fresh water at all times.
Materials note. Some of our products contain plastic parts. Various federal and state product-safety standards apply to consumer products of this kind; stating that a standard applies is not a claim that any specific certification is on file. If you have questions about a specific product’s materials, email us before you buy.
