This page explains your right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws, and how to exercise it with meowlyco, operated by RIZMOS LIMITED.
What “Sale” and “Sharing” Mean
Under the CPRA, a “sale” is not just an exchange of data for money. Passing personal information to another company for anything of value can count. “Sharing” specifically means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is advertising targeted to you based on your activity across different websites.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some cookie-based analytics or advertising activity on our site may count as “sharing” under the CPRA’s broad definition. This page lets you opt out of that.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out using any of these three methods:
- Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC). Turn on GPC in your browser or install a GPC-enabled browser extension. We honor GPC signals automatically as a valid opt-out of sharing for that browser. No further steps are needed.
- Manage or reject cookies in your browser. Your browser’s privacy or site settings let you block or delete analytics and advertising cookies for our site or all sites. See the Cookies section of our Privacy Policy for details.
- Email us. Send a message to support@meowlyco.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”. Include the email address you use on our site so we can apply your opt-out.
What Happens Next
- We do not require a government ID or account creation to process an opt-out request.
- We process opt-out requests within 15 business days.
- Opting out is always free.
Non-Discrimination
We will never punish you for exercising your privacy rights. If you opt out, you will get the same products, the same prices, and the same level of service as everyone else.
Right to Appeal
If we decline or fail to act on your opt-out request and you disagree with our decision, you may appeal. Email support@meowlyco.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” and explain your concern. We respond to appeals within 45 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
